Pacifica Beauty Perfume and Lotion Review

Hello, sweeties!

I can't even remember the last time that I reviewed a product, so I am very excited about today's post!

For Christmas I was gifted some items from Pacifica, a natural and cruelty-free beauty brand from Portland, Oregon. I've always wanted to try Pacifica's products, but their gorgeous packaging and magical ingredients have always made their products seem far too luxurious to be in my grimy little hands. Needless to say, I was buzzing when I opened this present on Christmas morning!

Today I'm going to review the lotions and perfumes I was given and do my best to describe the scents to you. Enjoy!

Also, before we get started and so I don't repeat myself with every product, LOOK AT THIS PACKAGING! Pacifica has the best packaging/colors/designs of any brand I've ever come across. The packaging is so vibrant and beautiful and shiny; I don't know if I'll be able to throw it away!

The first Pacifica product I received was a roll-on perfume oil called Power House, advertised as strengthening, modern aromatherapy. The most prominent notes in this perfume are, as mentioned on the packaging, pineapple and lime. The fragrance also has hints of rose, but what's even cooler than this mix of scents is the fact that there are tiny pieces of tourmaline floating in the oil! Tourmaline is a colorful crystal that is rumored to help detoxify the body, as well as promoting circulation and improving one's mood. Sign me up!

The perfume smells very fresh and summery; exactly like pineapple and lime. I don't know if the perfume makes me feel any more powerful, but it definitely smells relaxing and happy. Kind of as if you were on a tropical vacation!

This fragrance is wonderfully sweet, which is something you'd never usually hear me say. As stated on the back of the package in the next picture, the scent is comprised of vanilla, coconut, and vetiver (a type of grass known for it's earthy, woodsy scent). Even if you're not a fan of coconut, vanilla, or woodsy scents, you still may like this perfume. If I hadn't read about the notes that make up the fragrance, I'd have no idea what was in it. Rather than each note standing out and being detectable, they blend together to create a very unique smell. The sweetness of the vanilla softens the woodsiness of the vetiver, which balances perfectly with the freshness of the coconut.

As a part of the Indian Coconut Nectar set, I received this gorgeous hand cream. Because the scent of this lotion is quite summery, I decided to take it with me on my boyfriend and I's trip to sunny California. Now, whenever I use this hand cream or smell the perfume, I think of California!

Enough about the scent! This hand cream is one of the best hand creams I've ever used. It feels amazing when you put it on, and the "super hydrating" adjective on the tube ain't no joke!

Along with the hand cream I received a tiny body butter of the same scent. This body butter is rich and luxurious, and as advertised on the tube, intensely moisturizing. The consistency of this body butter is thicker than the hand cream (as expected) and works wonders for dry skin. This body butter is made up of so many lovely ingredients, and it even contains hyaluronic acid! Another favorite!

That's it for today's review! Overall, I am extremely impressed with Pacifica's products. They work wonderfully, and they look great when you pull them out of your handbag! I would definitely recommend going to your local Ulta and picking some up!

I hope you've enjoyed today's post, and I'll catch you soon for another!

Until then,
